The look

Rory asked what the posts should look like, not just sound like. Here is the visual system, built from the exact colors and fonts already on your site.

The palette

Cream Paper
#FAF7F2
The default canvas for almost every post. Full-bleed background of carousel slides, quote graphics, and stat cards. Reads like warm paper, never bright white, so the feed feels calm and grounded.
Warm Sand
#F0E6DA
The secondary background. Used for inset panels, alternating carousel slides, quote blocks, and the rounded card that holds a stat or a benefit word. Creates gentle depth against cream paper without adding a hard edge.
Muted Sage Green
#52564F
The primary brand color. Used for eyebrows, small icons, the waitlist button, slide numbers, underlines, and short accent words inside a headline. This is the color a viewer should learn to recognize as Ritual.
Dark Olive Ink
#1E211B
The main text color on all light backgrounds. Headlines, body copy, and captions on cream or sand. Deep and soft rather than pure black, so the type feels warm.
Warm Border
#DBD0C2
Hairlines and structure only. Thin dividers, the frame around a card, the rule under an eyebrow, the dotted line on a step list. Never used for text. It is the quiet grid that keeps every slide tidy.
Warm White
#FFF8F0
Text and icons on dark sections. Headlines and body set over espresso. Also the small logo lockup on the closing waitlist slide. The counterpart to olive ink for dark backgrounds.
Warm Espresso
#22251E
The dark section background. Reserved for high-contrast moments: a single bold statement slide, the final call to action, or a quote graphic that needs weight. Use sparingly so it stays a punctuation mark, not the norm.

The type

Montserrat · labels
Playfair Display
Playfair Display, serif, for one big statement per graphic and nothing else. This is the emotional line: the approved tagline or benefit phrase set large, in dark olive ink on light or warm white on espresso. Sentence case or title case, generous line height, one or two lines maximum. On a carousel it appears on the cover slide and the closing slide. Because it carries the feeling, it is never crowded by other type. Example use: 'Make Space for Yourself' or 'We can do hard things.' set large and centered.
Poppins keeps the body warm and readable.
Poppins for headings and body copy. This is the readable, grounded voice of the brand. Slide titles use Poppins semibold; teaching copy, step lists, and captions use Poppins regular or medium at a comfortable reading size with relaxed line spacing. Poppins does the explaining while Playfair does the feeling. Keep body copy short, warm, and coach-toned, never dense paragraphs.

Post anatomy

  • Carousel cover slide: cream paper background, a Montserrat eyebrow in sage at the top (for example CONTRAST THERAPY), one Playfair statement in olive ink as the hook, a one line Poppins subhead, and a small swipe cue in the lower corner. The small Ritual mark sits quietly bottom-left. This slide has to earn the swipe, so it stays clean with lots of open space.
  • Carousel teaching slide: warm sand or cream background, a Montserrat slide label with the step number (SLIDE 02 of 05), a short Poppins semibold title, then two to four lines of Poppins body copy. Optional simple line icon in sage. A thin warm border rule separates the label from the content. One idea per slide, never two.
  • Carousel closing slide: warm espresso background for contrast, an approved tagline in Playfair set in warm white, the sage waitlist button reading 'Join the Founding Member Waitlist', and a one line reminder such as 'Founding member rates for the first 75 members.' The Ritual mark appears in warm white. Every carousel ends here.
  • Quote or statement graphic: cream paper or espresso background, generous margins, one approved line in Playfair as the hero, an attribution or small Montserrat label beneath in sage, and a thin warm border framing the whole card or underlining the quote. No body copy. It is one breath, one idea.
  • Stat or benefit card: warm sand rounded panel on cream, a large Poppins semibold number or benefit word (mental clarity, resilience, balance, recovery, mood) in olive ink, a Montserrat label above it in sage, and one short Poppins line of context below. Used as a single post or as an interior carousel slide.
  • Story frame: vertical cream or espresso background, a Montserrat eyebrow, one short Poppins or Playfair line, and a clear sage prompt pointing to the waitlist link. Kept simpler and lighter than a feed post since it is quick and disposable.
  • Shared footer system across all slides: consistent bottom margin, the small Ritual wordmark placement, and the sage accent color used the same way every time, so the set reads as one family even when a viewer sees a single slide out of order.

The weekly Reel

  • Deliberately not templated: casual phone footage and a real voice, shot in the space as it comes together.
  • Any on-screen text and the caption use the same approved language as everything else on this page.
  • The shot list and spoken lines for every Reel live in the Content Studio.

Rules that keep every post on brand

Two directions to choose from

Option A · Soft, editorial, breathing room, calm morning light
Warm Paper

The lighter, airier expression. Nearly every post lives on cream paper or warm sand. Type does most of the work: a large Playfair statement, a small sage Montserrat eyebrow, and short Poppins copy with generous margins. Texture is subtle, a faint paper grain or a single warm wood edge along one side. Espresso appears only on the closing waitlist slide as a gentle contrast. It feels like a quiet studio journal, understated and human, the kind of feed that feels like a deep breath while scrolling.

Best for: The long runway of teaching carousels, benefit-word posts, and quote graphics from the first post in late September (proposed for September 28) through the New Year, where warmth, trust, and calm consistency matter more than punch. Easiest to keep on-brand at volume.

Option B · Bolder, grounded, hot-and-cold tension, coach with weight
Grounded Contrast

The stronger, more graphic expression built around the hot and cold idea. Posts lean on higher contrast between warm espresso slides and cream or sand slides, so a carousel physically feels like 'Hot + Cold + Repeat' as you swipe. Playfair statements run larger, sage accents are used with more confidence, and step lists and stat cards carry more structure. Texture is a touch more physical: cedar grain, steam, the surface of the plunge, always warm-graded. Still earthy and never neon, just with more spine and momentum.

Best for: Milestone and momentum moments: the launch of the waitlist, the countdown into early 2027 opening, 'We can do hard things.' resilience posts, and any time the feed needs energy and a clear push to act.

The posts

The runway

The live calendar runs 27 weeks from the first post (proposed for Monday, September 28, 2026) into April 2027, three posts a week on the Educate, Connect, and Invite pillars, with seasonal weeks locked to their real dates. It lives in the Content Studio, where every piece has a feedback box, and is finalized two weeks at a time.
